Chicken

The game is played in a series of short and fast games.
The goal of each player is to finish each game with as few points as possible.

In turn, a player may place only one card in the game pile.
The card must be the same in value as the top card in the game level or higher than it by exactly one number. A player who cannot play has to decide whether to draw a card from the pot or retire. Those who fear withdraw, and those who estimate that their chances of improving their situation, draw a card and continue playing.

The decision is never easy and that's what makes the seemingly simple game a surprising and exciting at any age.
